Department of Civil Engineering conducted their Survey Camp for the students on 21st, Apr 2017 at Hastinapur. This camp was aimed to groom civil engineering students with essential knowledge and exposure to the real work, and to encourage teamwork skills. This survey camp resulted in encouraging and supporting students, emerging as leaders in several areas of academic provision. The Survey camp was divided into various surveying exercises-leveling, compass surveying, theodolite surveying and plane table surveying and Contouring. In the camp all the students of Civil Engineering Department learnt all the technical aspect which is required in Surveying.

An industrial visit to Escorts, Faridabad Haryana was held with 3rd year & final year students in 2018. The liaison officer of the company gave a complete overview of production system which was followed from assembling inputs to a finished output, tested at every stage of production.

The students went to Dehradoon for one day industrial visit on 23rd March 2018, in which they have given exposure of different treatment process for industrial waste water and also they have shown the different design concept related to the sewage treatment plant. The main purpose to design the waste water treatment plant was "To make wastewater acceptable for reuse or for returning to the environment, the concentration of contaminants must be reduced to a safe level, usually a standard set by the Environment Agency."
